Hello Geezers.
Im just into starting a new project, which came in many boxes. Part of the treasure was a pair of non descript forks, 32mm with a "marzocchi" decal on one leg? I don't know if they are actually a pair of marzocchi, as the decal might not be original? Like I said the bike came in many boxes. The original SR250 forks are toast so I'm going to try and use these? Can anyone identify them? Im assuming they are from that era, the '80s? They are disc type as they have caliper mounts on one leg.
Just to complicate things, also in the haul was a nice looking twin leading shoe wheel and hub. I want to use this in the setup. Its got Yamaha cast on the internals but the spindle bore is a weedy 12mm? Think the original SR250 was 14mm? Again any ideas what bike it might be off?
I'll get some better pics and dimensions if needed.
Yes I know it's a drum going on a disc fork...but hey that's half the fun yeah
Cheers
